ONE Championship’s Friday Fights series was back in action on Friday in Bangkok, Thailand with ONE Friday Fights 9 emanating from the Lumpinee Stadium.
Capping off the night, ONE lightweight Muay Thai champion Regian Eersel — who also holds the promotion’s lightweight kickboxing title — looked to make the first defense of his Muay Thai championship against Sinsamut Klinmee. The Surinamese-Dutch kickboxer known as “The Immortal” had not lost a fight in years, but had battled to a split decision with Klinmee when they first met last October.
