Ahead of LFA 133, a bit of weigh-in drama left only one fighter eligble to win featherweight gold atop the card.

Going down Friday live from the Magness Arena in Denver, Colorado, LFA 133 was topped by Michael Stack taking on Jose Delano for the promotion’s vacant featherweight championship. But on Thursday, Delano had missed weight by a full five pounds. That leaves on Stack, winner of three straight fights, as the only combatant eligible to win the belt. Should Delano win the fight, the title will remain vacant.

Delano was one of three fighters to miss weight on Thursday, with both Luis Gurule and Cody Jerabek coming in heavy for their fights. All three fighters with forfeit a portion of their purse to their opponent. But it’s Delano losing a shot at gold that has the hurt the worst.

LFA streams live on UFC Fight Pass on Friday, June 3, 2022. Full results from the event can be found below.
