UFC middleweight and welterweight combatant Joaquin Buckley recently revealed some interesting details on an interaction with Logan Paul.

Buckley recently returned to the 170lbs division in the Octagon, picking up a second-round TKO win over André Filhao over the weekend. The 16-6 fighter broke a tough two-fight losing skid with his victory.

Shortly after picking up the win, Buckley raised some eyebrows due to his antics with a bottle of PRIME Hydration. The official sports drink of the UFC, PRIME was founded by popular YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI. Both men have also made the switch to combat sports over the years, even boxing each other professionally back in 2019.

Buckley dunking PRIME all over himself post-fight over the weekend drew a good-humored response from ‘The Maverick’ online.

Regardless, Buckley was quick to apologize during the post-fight press conference for his behaviour.

“Let’s Just Say We In Talks” – Joaquin Buckley On Logan Paul

In a recent interview with The Schmo, Buckley acknowledged that he and the controversial YouTuber-turned-WWE Superstar have been talking in the days since. The confirmation came following The Schmo asking about rumors of a potential partnership between the pair. While he was hesitant to confirm anything, Buckley did reveal they were discussing the matter.

“Ain’t nothing promised you know,” Buckley said. “I was in talks with Logan Paul [The Schmo asks what Paul said] I can’t talk about that now, you know what I mean? Let’s just say we in talks.”

Buckley ended his comments on his dynamic with Paul on a humorous note, requesting ‘The Maverick’ start following him back on social media.

“No promises, no promises, ain’t nothing promised,” Buckley said, after which The Schmo highlighted the importance of actually getting something signed off on. “There you go, and until then, we can talk about it. Other than that though, it was just a conversation and that’s all we needed was a conversation… Good DM, yes sir, I’m waiting on my follow though, you know I asked my man to follow me, he ain’t following me. That’s how you know that at least it’s gonna be real, you know, at least, hey come on Loge, you’ve gotta follow back bro, come on, best in the world, let’s get it.”

For now, it appears Buckley’s back on fine form following his return to 170lbs.
