Mitch Ramirez still wants Dana White to give him an opportunity in the UFC, and the unbeaten fighter also says that he’d happily step into the Octagon with Conor McGregor after the Irishman got him kicked off of Season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter.
The 30-year-old was a member of the original cast slated to compete on the season of TUF coached by McGregor and Michael Chandler, but he was removed from the show when “The Notorious” decided to add a few of his own fighters instead.
The initial backlash that came with the rumors that McGregor had altered the show’s roster died down relatively quickly, and Ramirez was asked during an interview with Fight Fluency if he’d like to take out any remaining frustrations about the situation in a fight with the Irishman.
“The answer’s yeah,” Ramirez responded. “If Conor wanted to fight, would I chuck bombs at him? F*** yeah I’d chuck bombs at him dude. I’d be trying to knock him out just like I try to knock out everybody else I fight.”
Mitch Ramirez Asks Dana White For UFC Opportunity
Even though he missed out on an opportunity to join the UFC through TUF, Ramirez still aims to make it into the sport’s leading promotion and closed out his interview with a message directed specifically at the UFC’s President.

“Dana White. Respectfully, I understand you might have not known about this, but this is what’s happened. I worked my whole life to be in the UFC. If you’re interested in my story man, I’ve got a crazy story. I would be an asset to this company dude, and believe me dude I can fight. So give me an opportunity, that’s all I’m asking. I’m not asking for any crazy special treatment. All I’m asking for is a fight. Just give me a fight and let me prove to you that I belong in the UFC.”
Ramirez already took out some of his frustrations by finishing Jeremie Holloway with leg kicks when they fought at XMMA 6 earlier this year. The 30-year-old is now 7-0 overall as a pro, and he’s finished five of those opponents inside the first round.
Season 31 of TUF is set to premier next week, but so far the highly-anticipated fight between McGregor and Chandler has yet to be officially booked. “The Notorious” appeared to be holding things up with his refusal to reenter the USADA testing pool, but last week he claimed that the issue had been addressed and the fight would be announced at some point during the TUF season.
